Crispy Sushi Bites
A fun homemade sushi hack with crisp rice-paper cups, seasoned steak bites and a creamy melted cheese finish.

Serves 4
- 200 g cooked sushi rice
- 200 g steak, cut into small cubes
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder, black pepper and teriyaki sauce, to taste
- 4 rice-paper sheets and 2 nori sheets
- 1 avocado, diced
- 100g Perfect Italiano Perfect Bakes
- Japanese mayonnaise, sesame seeds and chopped chives, to finish
Step by step
Method

Season the steak with garlic powder, black pepper and teriyaki sauce. Pan-fry until browned and set aside.

Cut the rice paper and nori into small squares. Layer a piece of nori over rice paper, add a spoonful of rice, then press into a lightly oiled muffin tin or small cups.

Bake or air fry until crisp. Add Perfect Italiano Perfect Bakes and return briefly until melted.

Top each cup with avocado and steak. Drizzle with mayonnaise, then finish with sesame seeds and chives.
